Our Bundles
At Ihkapaskwa Collective, we foster wraparound support, barrier-free access to reproductive care, advocacy, and education.
We offer education for families, communities, and organizations — always guided by our Grandmothers, Elders, and Aunties to do this work in a good way, one that honours our traditional ways of being and knowing.
Aunties Within Reach
Aunties Within Reach offers wraparound support, resource navigation, and advocacy for Indigenous families — walking alongside community with the heart of an Auntie.
hkapaskwa Collective is proud to partner with the Community-Based Applied Research and Evaluation (CARE) Lab at the University of Alberta.
Through this partnership, we are building pathways for Indigenous-led research, program development, and evaluation that center community voice, traditional knowledge, and culturally safe practices. The CARE Lab supports our initiatives by providing research, evaluation, and capacity-building services that strengthen our advocacy, outreach, and education programs, including Aunties Within Reach.
Fireweed Wellness Lodge
Fireweed Wellness Lodge is a culturally grounded space led by Indigenous care providers, offering barrier-free access to reproductive health, wellness support, and community connection.
Home to Ihkapaskwa Collective and Aunties Within Reach, Fireweed Wellness Lodge brings together midwifery care, birthwork, herbal wellness, family support, and outreach services — all rooted in Indigenous knowledge, tradition, and community care.
Land Based Workshops
Ihkapaskwa Collective invites you to reconnect with the land through immersive, Indigenous-led experiences. Guided by Traditional Herbalists and Knowledge Keepers, our plant walks, medicine-making workshops, and land-based family camps share the teachings of our ancestors and the healing power of the boreal forest. Each gathering offers a chance to learn, reflect, and experience the living traditions that continue to sustain our people and the land.
Advocacy & Education
We offer advocacy and education services that support families, communities, and organizations through culturally grounded teachings and lived experience.
Our offerings include prenatal education, Milk as Medicine (breastfeeding and chestfeeding support), traditional birth and medicine education, resource navigation education, and parenting education, as well as youth programming.
Through this work, we aim to challenge systemic barriers, promote culturally safe care, and strengthen the knowledge and confidence of families and communities.
