    She brings together years of healthcare experience and traditional plant knowledge to provide culturally grounded care, advocacy, and wraparound support for Indigenous families and communities.

    Founding Health Director | Midwife | IBCLC | Educator
    Maddie Amyotte is a Cree-Métis Registered Indigenous Midwife and co-founder of Ihkapaskwa Collective.
    She brings deep expertise in perinatal and neonatal care, grounded in Indigenous knowledge and traditions, offering compassionate, culturally safe support to families and communities across the region.

    Chief Administrative Officer | Business Leader | Community Wellness Advocate
    Brandy Hepditch is the Chief Administrative Officer of Ihkapaskwa Collective.
    With a background in business management, financial analytics, and community wellness, Brandy supports the operational heart of the Collective — helping to build sustainable, culturally grounded spaces where Indigenous families can thrive.

    Lodge Assistant | Communications Coordinator
    Kaylen Duke is a proud member of Chipewyan Prairie First Nation and plays an active role in the day-to-day operations of our Aunties Within Reach program.
    She supports our AWR program through community planning, event coordination, and social media engagement.

    Auntie Resource Navigator | Youth | Child and Family Services (CFS) Advocate
    Carlee Myette is a proud Métis Auntie Resource Navigator.
    She brings a strong background in child and family services (CFS) advocacy, youth support, prevention work, and community care.
    Through her role, Carlee walks alongside families and youth, offering culturally grounded resource navigation, advocacy, and connection — supporting families to build their bundles with the supports and resources needed to raise healthy, thriving families.

  • Sierra Budesheim

    Auntie Sierra is a proud Cree Deaf woman and a member of Swan River First Nation in Treaty 8 Territory. As a new mother, she brings strength, and care into both her personal and professional life.

    With nearly a decade of experience, Sierra has dedicated her work to supporting Indigenous communities through roles in group homes, treatment centres, and independent living. She now continues this work with Aunties Within Reach, walking alongside community members with compassion, cultural connection, and respect.

    Outside of her work, Sierra values time with family and expresses her creativity through ribbon skirt making and beadwork, honouring culture, identity, and tradition in all that she does.
